Hace unos meses que los seguidores españoles de Paramore enloquecieron porque conocieron que su grupo favorito iba a visitar por primera vez España. Será el próximo 11 de julio en el Palacio de Vistalegre de Madrid. Las expectativas de público son muy buenas y el fenómeno fan de Hayley Williams está listo para darle la bienvenida al grupo.
Sin embargo, no todo son rosas en este primer concierto de Paramore en España. La promotora del evento, U18, ha comunicado que no estará permitida la entrada de cámaras al concierto. Obviamente, y teniendo en cuenta que es la primera vez que la banda visita Madrid, la noticia ha sentado fatal entre los fans. Con la era digital en ebullición y con el etiquetado de fotos en redes sociales en pleno apogeo, los seguidores de cualquier grupo tienen las fotos del concierto como uno de los pocos recuerdos que pueden guardar para la posteridad.
No obstante, en las condiciones que suelen incluirse en el reverso de la mayoría de entradas para conciertos en España, especialmente si se celebran en salas de pequeño o mediano aforo, se avisa de que no está permitida la entrada de cámaras de video ni fotográficas -especialmente las réflex-, por lo que es un debate abierto y que resurge con casos como el de Paramore. Si tenemos en consideración que la mayor parte de cámaras que llevan los seguidores a los conciertos no son profesionales, se trata de una medida poco acertada y que solo siembra el descontento. Aunque la decisión podría entenderse, quizá lo que más moleste es que no se hayan dado explicaciones al respecto. No es lo mismo decir que no se permiten cámaras de fotos porque Hayley Williams se pone histérica con los flashes durante el concierto (ejemplo inventado) que simplemente prohibirlas sin más.
Las verdaderas causas de esta prohibición se desconocen a día de hoy, pero se baraja la posibilidad de que Paramore grabe un DVD en directo en Madrid, algo que facilitaría el trabajo del equipo de rodaje. Es difícil que esto suceda porque el despliegue técnico que habría que hacer en Vistalegre tendría que ser muy grande y, además, el grupo no tendría motivo para esconderlo.
Williams y compañía llegarán a Madrid con su primer single tras los cambios de formación, “Monster”, ya publicado, por lo que será una buena oportunidad para comprobar cómo funcionan los nuevos integrantes en directo y seguro que también para escuchar algún que otro tema nuevo más.
