No importó que los británicos de McFly acabasen de revolucionar al auditorio, ni que su concierto empezase con retraso, miles de adolescentes abarrotaron anoche el Palacio de los Deportes de Madrid, como ya hicieron el pasado octubre, para corear los nuevos temas de Maldita Nerea.

Cinco horas en las que dio tiempo a ver sobre el escenario a grupos como Cornelius 1960, que poco después de las seis de la tarde daban el pistoletazo de salida a un evento presentado por Tony Aguilar, locutor de Los 40 Principales, que se encargó de animar los tiempos muertos entre una actuación y otra.

Por su parte, Lara Pinilla sorprendió a los presentes con una preciosa interpretación de "Rolling in the deep", de Adele, para después demostrar sus dotes roqueras versionando "Highway to hell", el clásico de AC/DC.

Pero el plato fuerte de la noche estaba aún por llegar, y lo hizo de la mano de los londinenses McFly, que sólo necesitaron un tema, "Baby Girl", para enloquecer a un público que grito, se emocionó y bailó al ritmo de su enérgica propuesta a base de guitarras y una potente percusión.

Como recompensa, Danny Jones y el resto de los componentes frecieron un espectáculo divertido, con muchos guiños al público y sin apenas pausas, en el que no faltaron canciones como "Lies", "One for the radio" o "Shine a light", que hicieron vibrar a todos los presentes."Heart Never Lies" y "Falling in love" aportaron el contrapunto romántico a un repertorio que completaron versionando "Pass Out", del rapero británico Tinie Tempah e "It's all about you", que los espectadores cantaron a pleno pulmón.

Concluido el concierto, Tony Aguilar se puso de nuevo a los platos ante un público que seguía contoneándose al ritmo de algunas de las composiciones que triunfan en las pistas de baile.

Pasada la medianoche, comenzaron a escucharse los primeros acordes de "Cosas que suenan a...", a los que siguieron los de "Por el miedo a equivocarnos" y "Fácil", el primer single del nuevo álbum de Maldita Nerea. Tres temas con los que hicieron olvidar a los jóvenes gran parte del cansancio acumulado.

Precisamente fue su último disco, lanzado en mayo, al que más tiempo dedicaron. "El error", "El último día" y "En el mundo genial de las cosas que dices", fueron tres de los temas que interpretaron entre continuos mensajes de cariño y respeto hacia sus seguidores.

Pero si hay algo que no les suele fallar a los grupos, eso es recurrir a sus antiguos éxitos. Fue el caso de "Tu mirada", que tocaron casi a oscuras, con la luz de cientos de teléfonos móviles que crearon un ambiente íntimo en el Palacio de los Deportes.

Dieciséis temas después del comienzo de su actuación, Maldita Nerea se despedía de sus fans con "El secreto de las tortugas", dando por finalizada una noche intensa y de buena música para los asistentes.
